A brief kick-start to my new blog suziesyard.space which will be recipes and thoughts and photos and activities about food and agriculture and wellness and the world. Down on the farm Suzie’s Yard we have had a busy and eventful summer, especially at Dal Campo al Tavolo with a lot of visitors from all over the globe, enthusiastically supporting what we are doing here. We’ve been looking after the chickens, the baby vines and the new olives, and harvesting fantastic tomatoes, herbs and other veg at Suzie’s Yard. The new flour is ready (inshallah), together with chickpeas (and hummus), walnuts, tomato passata, honey and a great Merlot 2015 for you to taste. If you didn’t make it over yet this year this is your last opportunity ’til 2017…

We’re setting the long table for an end of summer lunch, full of interesting conversation gathered around freshly picked and prepared food, some surprises, and to die for wine. You know it won’t be standard fare (‘cos we don’t DO standard fare) … but it will certainly, as always, be fun and delicious!
